General information
White Bunny by Natalia Dakishvili Qisturi Saghvine-Aleksandrouli is a dry red wine from Kakheti, Eastern Georgia, produced in the Akhmeta area, specifically in the village of Zhaluri. The wine is a blend of 50% Qisturi Saghvine and 50% Aleksandrouli, two indigenous Georgian grape varieties, one of which is exceptionally rare.
The grapes are harvested in mid-September and fermented together using traditional underground vessels. Fermentation occurs spontaneously on the skins for approximately two weeks, followed by a total skin contact of 20 days. After pressing, the young wine continues to mature in the same vessels for an additional one month. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally.
The wine is fully ready to drink, with an aging potential of 5–7 years.
Taste profile
In the glass, the wine shows a deep dark ruby color. On the nose, it offers expressive aromas of black and red berries, supported by subtle earthy and smoky notes.
On the palate, the wine is balanced and elegant, with clear fruit expression and a soft, lingering finish. The structure is refined rather than heavy, making the wine both characterful and approachable.
